First thing in the morning we went outside the city to the Chateau de Versailles to see the Palace and gardens that were build by King Louis VlX; this was his palace that he lived in during the French Revolution. It was a huge building and enormous gardens that just went forever but it wasn't that nice to Brian and I. Also it cost us $13.50 Euros each to
see inside the palace that wasn't even that great, it was really tacky and restored poorly (tacky wall paper and painted walls to look like marble). The gardens were big but they were lacking in flowers and was pretty much just all gravel and trees. There were lots of fountains but boring fountains. In our opinion we had bigger expectations from what we heard and it was not worth that much money to see. Especially because it was the most expensive palace we have gone to so far and was definitely not one of the best.In the afternoon we walked down the most famous street of Paris called the Champs Elysees other had fast food chain fancy stores and top car dealerships. Unfortunately we probably wouldn't have been able to go into these stores because they are that classy but we did
go into a couple
car shops which was super cool. At the end of Champs Elysees there was a ginormous Arc called the Arc de Triomphe that basically separated the old side of Paris from the new side called La Defense. It was too far to walk to La Defense but we planned on seeing it a different day so we had more time. The Arc was so big and really neat to see and walk under. After this we took the city train to the Eiffel Tower so we could see it at night. Obviously the Eiffel tower was one of our favorite things to see here in Paris and was a real highlight to see all lit up. We got some really amazing pictures of the tower so we have to show you some of them since they turned out so well! We spent a couple hours lounging in the gardens in front of the Eiffel Tower and then headed back to the hotel for the night.

Monday: More to come ASAP!
